We understand that each student is on their own journey. We want to give them everything they need in order to find joy, success and purpose in their lives.

Katy Eurich trained at the Kintz-Mejia School of Ballet, The Milwaukee School of Ballet and The Washington School of Ballet. Subsequent to her training, Ms. Eurich went on to receive a BFA in dance from George Mason University. She also performed internationally (Austria) under acclaimed choreographer Vladimir Angelov; in Washington D.C.area at The National Theater; Wolftrap, the Lansburgh Shakespeare Theater, The Wooley Mammoth Theater (with Interact Theater), and at The Bayou with Grammy award-winning artist, Warren Zevon. Ms. Eurich then became the founder and director of CrossRoads Dance Project (CDP), a non-profit contemporary ballet company that resided in Arlington County under a grant from The Arlington County Commission for the Arts. Ms. Eurich’s choreography received high critical reviews from The Washington Post as being “creative”, “cerebral” and her dancing, “breathtaking”. Dance Metro D.C. nominated the company for “Best Emerging Modern Dance Company in D.C.” in 2007. In 2010, CDP was the recipient of the Dance, Yes We Can award in D.C. presented by Dance U.S.A. for Ms. Eurich’s dance film, “ The Deeps”. CrossRoads Dance Project performed under Young Audiences of Virginia and was honored to bring classical ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella to impoverished areas throughout the state of Virginia. Additionally, the company worked with NFL star, Darrell Green, and his Darrell Green Learning Center in Washington D.C., offering at-risk children dance lessons and performing opportunities. Ms. Eurich has performed internationally with her company in Jerusalem and Namibia. While performing in Namibia, the company taught dance to children in orphanages. Today Ms. Eurich teaches classical and contemporary dance as well as dance movement to those struggling with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Tori Fauntroy received her dance training at CrossRoads School Dance Theater . For 11 years, Tori studied classical ballet rooted in classical technique as well as modern and contemporary dance . As a post-graduate, Tori performed with CrossRoads Dance Project at Project Dance in New York City and Next Stop Theater in Virginia. Tori was the first student from George Mason’s sports medicine department who initiated a program where she treated injured dancers in GMU’s Dance Department. Tori has her Masters Degree in Sports Medicine and is the resident sports therapist for Belhaven University’s dance department in Mississippi. She still continues to travel back to northern Va. to teach and assist with productions.

Grace Matson is a graduate of Belhaven College and holds a bachelor’s degree in Dance. Grace trained at the Fairfax Ballet and at CrossRoads Dance Theater. She was honored to be chosen to choreograph on Ballet 5:8’s (Chicago) advanced students and presented her works at the Summer Intensive Performance. She is often invited to choreograph at local various venues and not only teaches at CDT, but also stage manages our annual productions!

Sarah Meeks is a graduate of CrossRoads Dance Theater! Sarah has created, directed and danced in productions in both large and intimate church venues. She helps with all of the production for our annual performances in addition to teaching. Sarah holds a degree in English and currently works as a freelance editor.

(Guest Teacher ) Caleb Mansor is currently a company member at Nimbus Dance Theater. Caleb holds a B.F.A. in dance at George Mason University.
